Mahomet

Mahomet ESDA volunteers assist the community by providing Storm Spotter duties in times of severe weather , Medical Coverage and First Aid at community events and football games, and traffic control for emergencies, parades and community events.

Members also provide assistance to Champaign County Emergency Managment, and other surrounding jurisdictions by providing search teams in Central Illinois, and providing manpower to neighboring jurisdictions when requested for both emergency, and non-emergency events. 

The ESDA office is staffed only during times of severe weather and other events. In case of emergency, DIAL 911 - do not call the ESDA office.
